Qian Xue Sen (11 December 1911 – 31 October 2009), was the father of Chinese rocketry, the leader of the research that produced the nation’s first ballistic missiles and its first satellite. In the United States, though not so publicly celebrated, he was no less valuable, he was a pioneer in American jet and rocket technology.
 
This book tells the story of Qian Xue Sen in simple sentences in Mandarin Chinese with pinyin which will help children at the intermediate level to read by themselves and for reading aloud with beginners new to the language.
